Purpose:
To create a warm yet credible brand system for Elevate — a global virtual conference hosted by Modern Health. The goal: visually reflect the duality of clinical authority and human connection in a workplace mental health space.
Outcomes:
This concept reimagined how mental health conferences can feel: vibrant, evidence-based, and inclusive. While speculative, it demonstrates my ability to translate mission into system — with strong potential for real-world scalability and impact.
Workplace mental health is still too often approached with clinical distance or corporate vagueness — leaving teams uninspired and unengaged. Elevate needed a brand identity that could build trust with HR leaders and DEI advocates while still sparking curiosity and emotional clarity. I asked myself: how can we design something that feels expert-backed and human-driven? The challenge was to find that balance — not overly safe, not overly soft — but grounded, inviting, and forward-thinking.
The foundation began with three brand pillars: credible, connected, and contemporary. I built a logo rooted in motion and openness, inspired by ripple effects and upward momentum. The color system pairs clinical green and grounded plum with warm neutrals for balance. Typography is clean and scalable, with humanist curves that bring personality. Every choice was intentional — a brand system meant to inform and include, not just impress. I applied the identity across a digital registration page, social promos, and virtual platform touchpoints to show how it might show up in the real world.
This concept wasn't launched, but it unlocked new clarity in my design practice. It reaffirmed my passion for visual storytelling in the mental health space, strengthened my ability to design from insight, and proved that scalable systems can still feel soul-led. If expanded, I’d build a full virtual event kit — daily themes, session visuals, merch, and wrap-up storytelling — while collaborating with clinicians and marketers to ground the work in lived experience.
Final Thought: Mental health deserves design that feels as intentional as the care it represents. Elevate was my experiment in creating a system that welcomes people in — with clarity, connection, and purpose.
